We're Going Green(house)!

Writer's picture: Starla @ Royal Roost FarmStarla @ Royal Roost Farm

We've got a great crop of chicory in the ground in our backyard garden, so we decided that we would help it survive the winter by building a greenhouse.

This great little DIY project took about a day's worth of work and cost less than $150, with plenty of plastic sheeting left over for future projects and repairs.

Roy constructed this using mostly everyday tools: drill, paddle bits, hammer, staple gun, nails, etc. and the materials were very simple - 2x4s, landscape timbers, batting material, and a few 1x2s to frame the door. Check out the video below for a quick walk-through on how he did it!
