Spicy, sweet, smoky heat makes this the ideal sauce for fall tailgates, campfire cookouts and complimenting that perfectly-smoked brisket or turkey. It festures our Wicked Smoked Spice, a blend of slow-smoked sea salt and crushed red pepper combined with the warm spices of fall. Delicious!!!
1c ketchup (we used Heinz Best Ever Thick & Rich)
1 1/4c bock beer or root beer
2tbsp Dijon mustard with white wine/Chardonnay
2tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Wicked Smoked Spice
1. Combine all ingredients in a medium stainless saucepan and whisk until thoroughly combined.
2. Heat over medium heat until boiling, then reduce to low.
3. Simmer 30-45 minutes to desired thickness. 4. Enjoy immediately or store in refrigerator in an airtight container.
